Title: DVSA
Post by: mike the bike on September 28, 2017, 07:42:24 PM
My part 2 ADI test is booked for next Thursday.   I'm counting down the days in my present job,  tomorrow (Friday)  being my last day.  I get home and have a look at my emails and find the bloody useless DVSA have postponed my test for another 4 sodding weeks.  So I'm back to double figures again.

I thought DVLA are a bunch of useless cretins but DVSA are an absolute ruddy shower.

Tough luck Mike.
I've found through bitter experience that it doesn't matter how much you plan and attend to detail you can guarantee that someone else beyond your control will let you down.
C'est la Vie.
Good luck anyway for the future.

Mike, as an ADI of 13 years i have found that type of thing happens quite often, can be something as simple as the examiner booking a holiday or being ill. It has been known for people to turn up for test and no examiner is available for test which is very disappointing for the pupil. Good luck with your new career, if you need any advice you are welcome to PM me, regards, Mick

My 17 year old Grand Daughter received an E Mail cancelling her Driving Test in a months time.....but offering her an Appointment at the same Test Centre 10 minutes later.

You couldn't make it up could you ?

Luckily she did the biz and passed. Her Mum says that she never sees her now she's able to drive (she also got a little Fiat for her 17th Birthday)......Bless.

Thanks for the support everyone,  as my instructor says; the DVSA are not fit for purpose.
As Mick says - this sort of thing happens all too often.  I thought the office monkeys in my works were the worst.   Obviously not.

You'll miss them when you're gone!
