Title: Garage clear out
Post by: paulbaker1954 on March 26, 2018, 04:39:58 PM
Just had a bit of a root around the garage and I have the following available if anyone is interested pm me

1) Full 500 four clutch , good plates in spec, springs, basket, lifter, shim etc

2) Two aftermarket coils CML612 units. They are 5 Ohm primary and 17 Ohm secondary. I bought them last year but never used them as I ended up going full Boyer kit

3) Two original coils working but worn. The outer ht coverings are a bit brittle and have cracked at the entry to the coils but they do work fine

4) Another contact has an original NOS K0 seat in mint condition. Apparently they are as rare as hens now. I can put you in contact here if anoyone is interested

PM with a sensible offer if anything is of interest. They are all on fleabay but rather a forum member benefited

Here’s are some pics of seat my contact is looking around 300. Is that reasonable for a mint original seat? I have no idea!,

I think I will pass on the seat thanks Paul so over to you James if you are still  interested. They are really rare though but I think the 'dealer take-off' one I have already has more of a NOS look about it in the padded sections. Pretty sure someone will take it though with a bit of haggling  if James passes on it too.

Are the coils suitable for a 500 four? I'm after some new ones but don't have the money for new dyna ones. Also would i need 3 or 5 ohms?

Just found an earlier post from Ash a true guru who states that ideally primary needs to no no less than 4.5 ohms so these should be fine then
