I use link life on the 550 as it has an ordinary chain.
Its far cleaner and lasts ages.
The 750 has an O ring chain so that gets a very occasional squirt of Silkolene chain lube.
The Pegaso has a scotoiler that oils the back of the bike and the chain if it feels like it.  ::)

Just to add my thoughts, I use spray chain grease from our local pound shop, really runny when you apply it, that way it penetrates all the side plates and rollers, the solvent evaporates off leaving a non fling grease in and on the chain. £1.00 a 500ml can!

I got caught on too many occasions by my Mum and Dad doing that with the flat tins of Link Life trying to resurect chains off my old Brit Bikes. It was OK until it boiled over.......what a mess 🙄🙄🙄

Iv finished off the old can of link life now and also discovered I have a tight spot in the 550 chain now after riding like a twat to keep with a Merc

I'm going to give the Putoline equivalent a go next time.

I use chainsaw chain oil on mine. Works out cheaper and works fine.

Just back from a 60mile ride and the back end of the 750 is now covered in chain lube and dust  ::)
The drive chain is totally silent though.
I spent hours changing the tyre re greasing and cleaning it Sunday ready for next weekend.  ::)
I am convinced linklife is the way to go the 550 back end stays lovely and clean
