HI all . need to get a new link for my 400 chain but am unsure what size to order the chain has 96 links without split link . many thanks

If it's running a standard size chain it should be a  530 (in old money 5/8ths X 3/8ths)

Pproblem you have is whilst width and pitch are a "standard" different manufactureres can use different pin and bush sizes so you need the same make as the chain to be safe

There is usually some sort of mark on the side plate of the link from which you can determine the make. Did you fit it so you know where it came from?

No it came with the bike but has clearly very little miles on it but it had a rivet link so when the engine came out and a rear wheel refurb  i ground off the rivet link . It does say EK50 HVO on the links but i cant find any info on this chain
