Just got round to replacing the tyres on my 750 and wondered what you lot do with the old ones these days, in the old days I would have taken them to the tip but that is not allowed now and no they can't go on the garage/shed roof either. I was thinking of chopping them up and putting them in the bin.
Cheers

Use in the garden, make a planter,
Or take to a tyre fitter and ask to dispose

Take them to a tyre fitter, they charge about £2 around here. I will admit to also getting him indoors to cut them up in the past with the grinding wheel and me disguising them in black sacks and taking to the tip 🙃🙃🙃. The grinding wheels wear out really quickly when doing this though, it's actually cheaper to pay the tyre fitters to dispose of them.

You can give them a whole new life on the side of a tug! ;D

Not all of us own a tugboat cap'n ;D

Thanks for the replies guys, I was thinking of the cutting them up route like Julie but Mick's post got me looking at the internet and sure enough there is a firm round here that takes them off your hands, though as we are near the Mersey there must be some tugs that need them.
Cheers

I cut them up with a oscillating multitool and throw them in the bin
