Title: finned points cover
Post by: florence on April 27, 2011, 06:14:13 PM
I used to have finned after-market points and rocker covers.  In a fit of madness I threw them in the scrap bin many years ago and now I would like some more.  Does anyone know who made them?

Think there were a few generic castings around but Dresda I think sold a set and fitted them to 750s.

I think I've seen them for sale, from dave silvers or M&P or one of the other big names in mail order, think I may have a set on one of my engines but I'm not in a hurry to dig them out as the loft is chocca with bits

Steve, carefull with the points covers as the screws are in different places on different engines so the fins dont come out horizontal

I was thinking of that when I wrote it Bryan, but thought that it was the 400 that was different (I may be wrong of course...)
