Thank for the very helpful advice, I will give Menno's method a try as it seems the most forgiving way. Brings back memories of transfer fitting on the Airfix kits many years ago. Once again many thanks for all the above responses. Kind regards Ianmck.

Is there anyone on the forum who has fitted there own tank decals? I have just got some from DSS. (K2 type) I am very nervous about fitting them. Is there a "Best method " of putting them on the tank without kinking or distorting them? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

Have a look at 71 750-K Cafe Project, on dotheton.com, the guy has made his own rearset set up, quite impressive.

I have read on the american sohc site that some people have done away with with the frame braces alltogether, its not something i would want to do, but the question is are these frame braces required at all ?. How much stress are they under ?. i am thinking of just using bolted on sleeves, would this be strong enough ?, or is something more substantial required ?

My wife has started to ride my 400/4, she is having problems with the clutch, says its very hard to pull, I have to agree it is quite heavy, does anybody know of any simple cheap way of making the clutch pull a little lighter ?

Have recently bought a LH panel for my K4 from LPM through e-bay, very pleased, minimal tidying before painting, and fits a treat.
