I did that with the '72 in my avatar. It also had a K3 seat and tank.

I thought the K3 looked better (at the time) and swapped a load of bits with a guy in Portsmouth who'd bought a brand new K3 and was making a cafe racer with it...    :o

Have you asked the guys on www.sohc4.net as there's a large(r) community of K0-K1 builders over there.

Check the Yamiya kill switch plastics thread!

Where in Kent Keith?

Any CR within biking distance is worth a visit (and I have a colleague in Canterbury who is the same...)

Ah, Galway.

In the late 80's I was there every fortnight (I worked for Northern Telecom)

The Great Southern Hotel...

The Oyster Festival...

The taxi ride to/from Shannon...

I have some Triumph mates in Galway - we try to meet up each year. Last year I went to the NW200 on my Sprint and stayed over for a couple of days before heading back to Dublin for the ferry.

You're welcome.

Fill in your profile - otherwise this lot won't know you're from Ireland...

Assuming that you could:

a) open the bloody thing (I remember using screwdrivers)
b) get the "beer" out once you'd pierced it

I put a brand new tyre on the front of my (black) 500 last April. I left it on the sidestand in the barn over the summer but when I took it out in Sept it was exhibiting a severe front wheel wobble.

The tyre had deformed in the heat of July/Aug in the barn and is now

Hi Keith.

I run this place as well...

We are small but perfectly formed and (mostly) from the UK, which means real help is available when required.
