Trying to get shut of a few things I will never use on eBay tonight and over next week (honda_four_rider) to fund more chroming / painting.
If anyone on here buys anything I will try to post free.

Now there's a thought Ash. I do like to pamper myself. It's the hand cream that would come in most handy at the moment. All this working on my 400/4 has wrecked my nails and my hands feel as rough as a bears ass. Hope I win it ;D ;D ;D
Have just seen I have been outbid on some bike bits on peebay, I'm going to treat myself to Ash's pamper kit to cheer myself up.

Bloomin 'eck Julie I only meant it as a joke.... anyway refunded your postage, as I promised, and yea go on pamper yourself!
I really must cut the 'banter' ..
What were you outbid on .. if you tell us what you need there are people on here that may have it or find you a decent deal !

Gloves are the answer..........quite apart from the H&S viewpoint, try a variety of different gloves and you'll find that you soon get used to them, and then wouldn't do anything without them. I grant you that sometimes we have to use our bare hands on really sensitive tasks but these are quite rare.
Just try it!

I'm guessing Julie is used to wearing gloves,
her work would require them,
some messy fluids around
-
Oh yes, I am an expert on gloves, standard kit in my job as you can imagine !!!!.
-
I BUY Nitril and latex gloves, i could not work without them
john i hate to think what messy fluids you mean ooeeww
-
I did wear gloves when I was using the carb cleaning fluid, it melted the fingers off the gloves, that's how I know carb cleaner is the best nail varnish remover I have ever found ;D ;D ;D

I was early to see a consultant once and I sat outside his room waiting. He ushered me in early, which surprised me a bit, and then blabbed on about my train journey etc and career expectations etc until he realized I was not there an an interviewee for a SHO's job, which he was recruiting for the same day. He promptly sent me out with a flea in my ear and no apology. He got his bloody own back on me as well, when I went back in as a patient , using one of those pairs of gloves. ;) Real 'Carry On' stuff.

No something like a marigold .. While I was waiting outside after he ejected me I heard the old nurse, who looked more like the cleaner and was ultimately responsible for the mix up , cackling to her colleagues about what had gone on. Well embarrassing plus people don't believe me that it happened but it did. He even gave me a dressing down 'cos I went see him on the NHS but I had paid privately on the previous appointment with his colleague. 'cos I was going to China and didn't want to risk being ill so far away from home.
Must get some work done now ... and sorry for the 'banter' :-[
