Has anyone got the following that they feel they can part with?
94001-12200 Hex nut 12mm with 17mm head x 2
They are for the rear lower engine mounting bolt, the one the front footrest mounts onto.

You ever go to the Swettenham bike meet?
Might be close to you. Thursday night.
-
Hi Ken. Not going anywhere at the moment. Ended up in A&E, problem with my heart so grounded. Just pottering in my shed until I go back and find out what's going on.
-
Deano, I hope you are soon well mate. But I'm glad you can manage to worry about a blinking 12mm Hex nut just now!
-
Thanks Athame. Can't do any lifting etc so may as well deal with the small stuff.

Quite a few of us here have had similar visits to A&E. Just take it steady until they fix you.

Whereabouts in Cheshire?
I might have a couple of those nuts and if it's not far from Swettenham I can drop them off.
-
Hi Ken, very kind of you to offer to drop them off. However, I'm on the other side of Northwich from you, so I guess it would take about an hour diversion to drop them off on your way to Swettenham. If you do have two nuts, it would probably be best posted if that’s ok?
-
Other side of Northwich? You're not the one with the CB200 as well are you?
If so I've been to your house.
-
I do have a CB200 as well. Don't remember you coming round. Having said that there's a lot I don't seem to remember now a days.
-
Yeah it was a while ago, can't remember the part but it was new and I'd added it to an order from Holland (not CMS). It was small that's all I remember.
Just found it, CB200 breather clip in 2021.
-
Yes I did get the breather clip off you. My memory is shocking.
-
I don't think you were in, so maybe I just popped it through the letterbox
Still got the address BTW.
-
If you find a couple of nuts, PM me with the cost + P&P.
-
If I have them, no cost, I don't tend to use original nuts and bolts unless I have to. Those nuts would have been replaced by flanged stainless ones on my bike.
-
Just found one, no problem It's M12, 17mm headed with a 1.25 thread pitch. It's also 10mm thick.
I couldn't find another straight away so I looked in a drawer in my Snap-On box where I store odd nuts and bolts and found another the same but not exactly the same, still 17mm headed but this one is much thicker, about 15mm thick. Might have come off a CBX550 I stripped back in the early 80s, it looks the same except for the width.. Which I suppose you could either cut to match or grind to match if it bothers you
You want one or both?
-
Yes I'll take both Ken, thanks. Like you say I can cut the thicker one down to 10mm. I'll probaly clean them up and plate them anyway.
-
Nuts received. Many thanks Ken.
