Title: workshop drip trays/screw holders
Post by: Johnwebley on February 16, 2015, 09:57:49 PM
to cut a long story short, since the start of december my wife has been either in hospital,or home, and immobile due to a ankle joint
problem,
so I have to do the cooking etc,
not being a chef,I went for ease ,and started buying ready meals from our local supermarkets,

it turns out there some great meals that just require defrosting and cooking, and tasty as well,
but with several,you get a durable plastic tray/dish,about 8" Dia,and 1 3/4" deep,perfect as drip trays,or screw.bolt holders,

but, remember to eat the grub first !!!!

Er John, bit of advice here... don't bloody excel too much in the kitchen; it'll be your downfall. Suggest burned toast on dirty plates, or congealed egg + cold chips ... whatever it takes...

Honestly, the "look at my drip trays guys!" will come back to haunt you!

It sounds to me like you are doing a grand job Nurse John, your wife should be very proud of your efforts and your attention and kindness.

Seriously, never let on about kitchen  skills. You may never escape. My mrs thinks I can only cook 2 meals, roast beef or pasta in tomatoe sauce. So I do get some time off in that department.  Sadly I think she would have me rumbled if I started smashing the crockery  after all these years of doing dishes.
