Title: VF1000 F first trip
Post by: Fraccie on August 26, 2018, 10:44:19 AM
After a total strip down and rebuild. It went ok, after I converted the gear change from 1 up and four down to the far more usual 1 down and four up...... :)

Slight weep on one of the forks, but otherwise, she went well.

Nice looking machine. Was the gear shift pattern standard or had the previous owner put the linkage on upside down? I can hardly believe that a std honda prod bike would have a reversed pattern..

Ahem...I put the linkage on upside down when I put the bike back together after a frame strip and paint, no point blaming anyone else for my cock up... :)
