As far as i know all the 500 are the same but they do corrode, only place i ever saw them was silver but not cheap. There is a sevice bulletin about clutch adjusters in alladins cave

They are the push in with O rings arnt they mate, if so 100 is atandard 500 so im sure i can find a loner set for you

The Story
Many years ago Honda dealers had to buy parts from one of several "big" dealers, some of these were Fowlers, Tippets, Skellerns, Bill Smith, Bill Head plus more. If you ordered parts by number any dealer got 20% discount, Honda dealers more. Now any dealer orders direct from Honda and get whatever discount Honda give 68

Bring the engine to Gloucester and i will do it, buy and ultrasonic cleaner and do the carbs yourself with an O ring kit from Nurse Julie and DO NOT replace any of the brass in the carbs with "kits" as most kits are wrong nowadays.

It may wear in over time as it is little but probably not, personally i would ride it using the brake as much as possible whilst investigating a machinist

That wheel has been relined alread mate and may not have been turned perfectly true or possibly pulled fractionally out of true when rim laced, it may bed in or may need a very light skim by somebody with a big enough lathe to get the complete wheel in

If it fits a 550 it should be 500 twin and four as well, the number change is probably a friction material change. EBC may need the sides filing where the holes are to get the plate and split pins on
