Thats a bummer. I am curious how the surface finish will be after reverse chroming. Deffo a specialist job.

I suspect they are polished and not chromed. But hard to tell from the picture. Carb metal doesn't chrome easy and is rather expensive.

I have 5 "fork ears" for the 500 and all are dented in the same way at the back.

Very good experience with Motobatt also. Over 4 years in use without any issue. Cold storage during winter with trickle charger attached.

Removing the chromed crimp ring isn't that difficult.

As a complete novice to painting with a spray gun i had a very promising result on some test pieces with the method and materials you described.
- need a bigger compressor (size does matter here) - need to disassemble front and rear hub because already with spokes and rims It will be more expensive It will be more laborious Thank you very much for posting!!!! 42

Regarding the spoke nipples i know that early CB750K2 had zinc plated and yellow passivate whilst later ones were blue passivated. |
