You don't use the felt with the bronze bushes, just the end cap.
Thanks Julie 👍

Mine had the felt seals, I don’t need them do I?

Yes you do Steve. They are dust seals and they also have a rubber seal on the inside to keep the swing arm grease in.

Thanks Dave.

I have a set of the bronze bushes from Julie I’m about to install.
Do I still need the caps, item 15 in the picture?

I heated the end of the swingarm and just knocked out the bush with a long steel rod. Came out pretty easy, no cutting.

Are you refering to the short bushes that used to be plastic (Julies are Brass) or the long Center Collar shown in the parts book diagram as item 13 p/n 52141-300-000 a hefty £103.22  from DS?

They were about 2 inches long and definitely metal.

Try H & R insurance in Aberdeen, I found them very good when I used to have my 1994 BMW M3.

Need just the front part of a 550 brake caliper housing if anyone has one. Don’t need the internals  just the main housing the piston fits in.

Thanks.

The 2 pin connectors on the Oximizers are rubbish. I’ve had my Fireblade on trickle charge for the last 6 months and didn’t realise there was a bad connection on it so it didn’t maintain the battery.

Now I have a battery that’s dead and won’t charge because the bike alarm has drained it completely.

I’ve re wired the Oximizer with the parts from Amazon below, cable on the left just cut one end off and soldered it the the Oximizer pcb.
Way better connection.

Has anyone used the 2K rattle cans where you press the valve in the bottom to add the activator?

Was thinking about using them on my 550 frame.
