changed the oil pump today went better than I thought. the missing bolts were just missing I thought they may have been stripped threads but all OK, just need to get a 6x50 flange bolt are these available at any fastener dept. or are the specific to Honda? Thanks to trigger for the fefurb on my pump and advice. May not be a big deal to many of you but its my first time with a Honda 4.

Hi sorry for all the probably dumb questions. First a little history on my honda apparently it has previously been on on display in some antique shop in London for quite a few years, this is probably why most of the oil seals were missing (something I am finding out as I work through the various leaks. I am now at a stage to replace the oil pump. investigating the the oil pan some bolts are missing (although amazingly enough it doesn't leak). I read somewhere all the bolts are not the same length, could someone explain what length of bolt goes where, before I dismantle it as probably the bolts will be wrong, judging by experiences so far. Why they are missing I will have yet to find out LOL.

decided to fix one of my many oil leaks starting with the tacho drive, came to undoing the bolt that fixes the drive in, lo and behold it just pulled out seems no thread left on housing. What size should this bolt be, thread, length etc so I can helicoil back to what it should be.

I am looking for new exhaust gaskets I notice some are alloy and some are copper, which is the better in your expert opinions.

finally got to the end of painting the new side panel, just a bit of compounding to do. finally got the new V5c now registered as Historic vehicle. Cant decide whether the number plate I made looks OK or not, it is to spec.

Hi I have some hoses missing. I presume the top one should go to the airbox which I havent got as carbs have pod filters so could I route that one out back of bike somewhere? bottom one I presume is some sort of engine breather, where should this go? what size pipe fits these connections?
any help appreciated.

Well took the old girl out for first time (for me) tonight. Well impressed with pulling power and handling. Only problem found on this run was a lot of popping from exhaust on overrun.

is having a yoshimura 810 kit on your bike good or bad? found out today mine has one fitted. hence why its listed as 810cc on V5C

Hi I have some problems with my Honda CB750 F1 problems I don't think I can tackle on my own. So as the title, does anyone know of anyone competent around the Leeds area who can help? I think I have a problem something to do with the gears they engage OK and drive the wheel OK but at low revs there is a horrible clunking sound. this seems to be coming from the alternator area but cant figure why placing it in gear would affect the alternator! Basically looking for someone who can sort it as I dont think I have the knowledge or nonce regarding a multi cylinder machine.

Can I use ordinary bulbs in this cluster or must I get Honda bulbs which seem quite expensive (as does everything else I need)
If so what would you recommend.

I presume the empty holes in my clocks are for lighting them. I have searched the internet for fittings but am at a loss. Can anyone point me in the right direction to obtain the fittings and wiring.
