Title: Fork Stanchion Studs - CB750 - 1970
Post by: Mr_Sheene on August 14, 2020, 03:04:08 PM
I haven't done much on my CB750 of late to the point that even SWMBO has told me to get on with it. The forks need refurbishing, so I went onto the DS site and ordered some of the bits that I will need. When we got to the studs, the operator said that the 8X49 studs shown for my bike 92700-08049 (and several other models) have been replaced by 92900-080-320B, which is shown on the DS site as 'BOLT, STUD, 8X32 *L'. This is where I get told off by Trigger but 17mm seems a lot to lose or have I got it hopelessly wrong? I ordered them, as I have a sort of blind faith in Honda but I await their arrival with interest.

You're correct, they are a lot more from DS. I'll report back when they arrive. Thanks for the info.
