i need to change the rubbers between the airbox and carbs...before i take eveything to bits can someone enligbten me as to tje best/easiest way

You need to start with one of my O'ring oil pump kits ;D ;D
A lot easier removing than putting on mate. Take the two bolts out of the air box , loosen off all the clips and pull the carbs towards the rear wheel. You will need to remove the tank and the cables for this job ;)

They are very, very expensive and Nope, won't help at all with air box rubbers ;D ;D ;D

i really hope that sensor works as i feel the price of them is only going up... :-X :-X :-X

I think the whole kit will be around six quid.
The oil pressure switch should do the trick but, check that the O'rings have not gone brittle.

may just have the kit anyway...then atleast its somthing i can just get on with...

Where do you get the rubbers from the air box to the carbs. I have just bought my bike and I could do with replacing one of them.

As long as it is not a 550K3 as they dont exist

There is someone in the US who makes rubbers for the K3 and 1978 bikes. They are not the same quality as the originals, but will do at a pinch. Paul Gabor, I have his email if you need.
