Post by: r1_pete on February 06, 2018, 07:04:30 PM
Cant find any references, but do the dots on the 392 pistons go to the front of the engine?.

Cheers.

Pete.

Pete, the easy way to check if you're unsure is to check the off set of the piston pin.
The off set is always to the rear where the inlet valve is.

Physics come into it Pete but the easy way to explain the reason for it, it's to help the con rod to change direction from upwards to downwards  motion as it goes over TDC.
