So I could buy this, steal a complete 550 and basically ring it?

If ebay doesn't remove this listing somethings wrong.

Well what do I know! There are others

It's probably OK to sell them, just illegal to actually use them on another frame.

Should be illegal, but we all know that the law is an arse.😖

I thought the law was an ass.

Or maybe that’s just American law

If it is legal then it is also a loophole I'm sure. The law is such an ass at times.  ::)  Perhaps a test case is needed?

Mind blowing but they do it with historic aircraft.

Cheers

I agree - often the criminal law does not define what is legal only what is illegal or unlawful.
Then of course there is the minefield of intention & culpabilty.

I'll take my Coat.

If youl could find a nos frame it would be perfectly legal as frames supplied as parts frames have no number so are stamped on fitting

That's an amazing bit of information Bryan - I'm guessing today VIN has stopped that practice?

As far as i know Honda frames still come with no number, being honest its a rarity to change a frame, from memory only ever done 1

I'm staggered you can sell a V5 with no chassis plate. Still, there is a lot that staggers me!  ;)

I suppose I was specifically referring to the Kia on the ebay link. Last time I sold a few Guzzi's, I included the frames (or relevant parts)
