Some of you have expressed condolances for the loss of my sister and to those thank you deeply, this is just the latest thing. Late last year i had to give in to the shoulder arther and swop from driving to siting in security hut, substantial pay cut but still earning. January 16th(my birthday) my brother in law died unexpectedly at the age of 88 having been married to my sister for 69 years. Then my sister was hospitalised with heart valve problem and passed on April 24th(3 days after my weeding aniversary).
I feel for my two nephews and their 29 year old kids who were raised a lot by their gran, my sister, as they have lost doth dad(grandad) and mum(gran) within 3 months. As the 71 yr old yougest of 5 with 2 now gone it feels like that cliff we all fall of is getting closer all the time.
My best to all on the forum and appologies for the grumps
Bryam

Rebuilding a 500 for John he was sold a "complete" Athena gasket set. Now not in the set are the oil pump to crankcase O rings, which Julie can supply but more important you dont get what i call the pontefract cakes(the US insist on calling them pucks), these are only available seperately from Honda and are now £5 EACH plus vat and post thus adding about £30 to the cost of the set.
This makes it, to me, worth shopping around and checking prices plus contents before purchase.

Last year i assembled a 500 four K reg for a Legion Rider but she found she cant ride it well at 73 so i have it for sale THIS WAS NOT A RESTORATION
K reg, historic V5 in my name engine number needs changing
Fitted last October Powder coated frame NOS Metzeller tyres Chain Front caliper new honda complete pattern cables new rear brake shoes Carbs from Gerben New agm battery BUT it will need charging
Bad Bits
It has a US rear mudguard with 3 bolt light, ALL the chrome has pitting but no majour rust, Motad exhaust, 2 different keys tank paint is scratched{Brown} side panels faded. I have not been into the engine as it came to me as a complete unit.
My phone is playing up so pics are a paint but i will take time to use camera if you send me email, my addy is in profile.
I want £2750 for it, maybe slight negotiation which i think is ok for a running 500, no warantee but if something did go wrong i would help out at cost as long as it comes back to be done
