CB350/400 / Measurement needed please.

Would anyone by chance have a set of 400 forks apart at the moment?.
I need the measurement of the depth of the recess where the fork bottom bolts go in (as per the attached photo).

Seeing as everyone is showing off their 750's, I thought I'd show you mine  :) :) :)

I bought the bike almost 6 years ago and its been at the end of a very long queue of other work and build projects but, Graham has now finished the restoration and as usual, he has done an absolutely stunning job as always, with no help from me whatsoever ;D ;D ;D

I always had plans to ride the bike regularly after the build but being almost 6 years older than I was when I bought the bike, I am now a total muscular weakling. 750's are fine for me when riding but moving them around on the spot is now impossible and if I loose my footing when stationary, at traffic lights etc, there is no way on this earth I can now hold the bike up. I'm only 5'5'' on a tall day, so touching the ground safely on 750's has always been a bit of an issue that I chose not to worry about, now its not safe.

I will get round to selling the bike at some stage but I thought you would like to see some photos. This is the last bike I own personally that will be restored. I won't be buying any more. My 500/4 and 550/4 are are all restored and are regular riders for me and when eventually they get too heavy, I've got my CD250u  :) :) :) :)

This is a brand new part. We bought this a few years ago to see if we could manufacture them cheaper but the bearings are registered to Tourmax and are unavailable as a seperate part. Lost the box. This fits CB750/4, CB550/4, CB500/4, but is not suitable for later CB750/4's or CB550 F1, F2, K3.
Just aiming to get back what we paid for it + post.

Please cross refence with Tourmax data to see if it fits your model. We know thay fit early models but do not know the the cut off for later models.

First off, THANK YOU EVERYONE for your concern 🙏 I'm ok, just a bit shaken up, but l'll be ok. For those of you who don't know what happened, I was robbed yesterday morning at the petrol station. I gathered myself together, my hands were still shaking, I was dizzy and I honestly think I was in shock. My money was gone. I called the police, they were fantastic and called for medical assistance as my blood pressure was through the roof. The police asked me if I knew who did it, and I told them "Yes, it was pump number 4 ” ⛽️😂

Found some new, loose gaskets that may be of use to someone.
The base gasket has a minute little tear in it but won't cause any issues when fitted.

As Graham is retiring from professional engine building / restorations, I'm wondering if anyone would like to buy this pair of piston bases. Original Honda equipment, P/N 07958-300-3000. They go under the pistons to hold them in place to fit the barrels over the pistons.

On the 400/4, what size are the dowty washers? I've ordered aftermarket ones in the past but can't find my link to them and I need some more for a friend overseas. I just can't remember what size I ordered 🙄🙄🙄
