Title: Most senior moment ever.

Would somebody mind posting a photo of a 550 F2 LHS foot rest. I can’t seem to locate the spring correctly without trapping one end of the spring in the u shaped clasp. I’v damaged my paint work three times now and I’m not convinced it’s installed correctly as the action is not very smooth.  Joke is there only appears to be one logical way to do it!

Just a small tip. DS replacement LHS footrest springs need a slight tweak to make them fit correctly (unless I got a wrong un). Grind 2mm of the end of the large radius spring tip and alter the angle of the last winding away from the spring winding. That way the spring tip doesn’t bind between the foot rest and hanger damaging the new paint work.

Or just use the original spring.... >:(
