Title: Engine stand
Post by: Mike on a bike on April 16, 2016, 11:30:30 PM: Does anyone know of any plans available to build an engine stand. I wil be tearing my bike apart soon and want to soda blast and repaint the engine.

Post by: royhall on April 21, 2016, 06:49:10 AM: If you have a good bench you don't need a stand. Leave the sump off and put some cap head screws in the threaded holes to lift it clear of the bench. Works fine, and engine is very stable like that. Not required it myself, but if you were to drop a washer or something in the engine it will fall out the bottom. Maybe.

Couldn't make it for that price either. Bargain off the year I think. It arrived today as well, really speedy delivery.
