Post by: 3scs on August 29, 2017, 09:40:49 PM
After reading the post about twin throttle cables I noticed my so called 550k3 has only one cable on closer inspection I realised the switch Assy is not the correct one there's no kill switch on it and only one hole for one cable does anyone know where I can get correct one from thanks

i would like to say a big thankyou to both Trigger and Nurse Julie for taking time to answer my many questions today im a complete beginner on these bikes (in case you didnt notice). I have fitted the switch had to modify wiring on bike end of loom i think as quite a few bits on this bike its not a K3 loom, i can now switch the side lights on and off and now have a kill switch just need to get throttle push cable fitted, well worth a run out on my other bike very reasonable price nice people and Julie makes a cracking cuppa thanks again

That looks good. Great to meet you today, it's always nice to meet Members that live around this part of the country and there does seem to be quite a few that live quite local to us. Great looking Yamaha you turned up on today by the way  ;D ;D
