I had an oil leak which turned out to be a crack in the rocker cover, I have found a used one in very good condition but I think its an older one as it has 8 rocker shafts. Will it fit my engine as it is or could I fit the 4 rocker shafts from my old one? there is also some side to side movement in the rockers is this normal?

The 8 shaft one is a early 500 four one. They changed them as, they ovaled the holes and they upgraded to 4 shaft and then upgraded to 4 shaft with pins to stop the shafts rotating ;)

Trigger is 100% correct but it will fit and run
