Title: Stator coil cb550f1
Post by: Richie 550/4 on July 27, 2020, 11:29:09 AM
Hi all.

Has anyone out there in sohc land got a functioning stator coil for a cb550f1 1976 on the shelf gathering dust that I could persuade you to part with?
Or does anyone know of a rewind specialist who could repair mine? My local rewind company say that they and no-one they know of will or can do it.

I look forward to any help.

Many thanks all.

Richard

Hi.

Also on this subject. I am running resistor style plugs. I have read a few posts that mention issues relating to the use of resistor style plugs. I am mainly running them as I have a digital rev counter that requires resistor style for its pick up.

Any suggestions / advice welcome.

Richard

I don't know about the stator. But as far as the plugs.

Just ensure you don't have resistor caps as well.

Using either r plugs. Or r caps is ok.but not both.
