No way can that have been registered 1.1.1971 as stated in the listing. very 1st ones were registered in 3/71 and had the squared crankcases.
Does seem a reasonable price though

DVLA usually use 1st January of the year of registration as the default. Even if the exact date is known, DVLA mostly use the default as the date of original reg of imports.

Thats what has happened to me with my 500k2 - DVLA registered it as 01/72 even though its frame number relates to 12/72. (and VJMC lettter and US titles stated 12/72). So on a K plate even though no K2's could have been even produced in Jan 72
