That's inexcusable.
I had a go at an arse who leant on my headlight during the prize giving. I didn't moan at Mr. Seeley though when he leant on my seat ::) ;D

The one and only Colin Seeley using my bike as a desk. Cheers for that.

I'm not remotely interested in prizes. I'm just interested to be around when a collection of these iconic bikes are all in the same place at the same time.
Might buff up me chrome though.... ;D

+1 for the waxoyl

Another tip I picked up is to pack any gaps/recesses etc. with grease and then spray over with Waxoyl.

Beautiful machine.
Excuse my ignorance but is this what is known as a sports cub?
Thanks, Peter

When you need the toilet and remember the toilet roll is at the bottom of the bag!

Thanks Roy , I’ve just ordered a set from Gerben , wish i had seen your post earlier . Can you recommend anyone local to set up and balance carbs .

The carbs from Garben will already be set.

In my experience, carbs bought from Gerben will still need balancing.

I had this exact same problem on my 400 when I took the carbs apart on no. 3 carb.
I got a replacement no. 3 carb from Steve at www.400fourbits.co.uk

He lists split carbs bodies that have been cleaned. If you email him he's sure to be able to help out.
If not then possibly gerben on ebay may be able to help.

Well done for introducing yourself and supplying us with some images. Doesn't look half too bad. Not sure what's happening with the centre stand though or have you just got a wobbly floor?

Very friendly and supportive atmosphere here so you've every chance of success in rebuilding your 650.

Good luck, Peter

The peice of gauze in the panching plate, I think that's how you spell it, filters the oil from the engine blow by gases and recycles them through the carbs. I use the foam part of a kitchen sponge, always have done.

So do I, cos Julie told me to! :o
