I’m firmly of the belief that the hubs were satin polished and lacquered. Other opinions may differ.

Hold the bus as I may have another option. I also need the handed metal things with the ground wire attached. and a contact in the USA may be able to help.

Hello all.

Would anybody out there have the USA type rear indicator brackets? These are the larger diameter type mounting stems and handed brackets identified in the attached as items 10, 12 (x2) and 13.

I have a pair of the smaller diameter UK items I’m willing to part with. These are the same style, but smaller diameter for the UK type indicators - freshly chromed too.

Yes, that’s the idea. The diesel provides some anti rust protection if the tank is not used for a while.

Looks great, Ted.

You should be very pleased. Sit back and have a cigar and beer…. On Roo.

I flush with deionised water post Deox C treatment. Not sure it’s absolutely essential, but does prevent flash rusting until I get the diesel coat in.

Bilt and Hamber Deox- C for rust removal and Gas-Mac for tank preservation. Works for me.

Hi, Ted.

I cut a hole in a towel, then for extra protection one of those plastic food preparation sheets. My missus was not particularly enchanted on discovery 🤔

Ha,ha. Good to be back Roo. Hope all is ok your end, mate?

I’ll drink anything at the moment Roo, such has been my deprivation over the previous 5 months.

Hey, Ted.

Just returned to Blighty for a short break and catching up on the ‘news’. Congratulations on your work with the 500, you must be both proud and satisfied.👍👍

Thanks guys. I’ll try to upload some photos when I have a decent internet connection.

Just had a slap up meal and lots of beer. First time a meal has cost me over a million?

Lots of small Hondas here….but nothing over 90cc.
