Used some on my daughters bathroom (wet room) ceiling and walls, and it does work though it's horrible to apply.

Great photos, fascinating stuff, as a long time Mosquito admirer once I heard about the project I signed up for the newsletter to keep up with the progress, it will be great to have an airworthy Mosquito in the UK again.

CB500/550 / Re: Engine to frame or frame to engine?

As the bike was completely stripped it was easier for me to fit the frame to the engine when I rebuilt my CB750, the grandson helped me.

Sounds like you have really had it tough, a really horrible time of it, so go out and get a bike and enjoy it.

Well took the Honda out for a spin, it went great however I did not, I have recently been diagnosed with Carpal tunnel syndrome by a physio and have been woken up at night with pains in my hands, pins and needles and a burning sensation in my hands.
I thought nothing of it but after about a mile on the bike my throttle hand was really painful so much so that I had to return home, after the physios referal I got in touch with my doctors who have managed to find me an appoinment for June so hopefully I can get something sorted.

Not easy to make out but this is the weld area now, it was done in 2006, I think that they did other repairs but I can't remember where on the frame they were.

Yes the rear shock mount looks a bit iffy, but blasting will reveal the full extent, I was lucky that the place I used for the powder coating are were very motorcycle orientated  and did a great job of inspecting and repairs.

The front frame photo looks a bit like my 750F1, I was horrified whern I found it just before I took the frame to be powder coated, but it was weld repaired no problem and I have had no problems with it. Looking for a photo of the repaired frame but failing at the moment, if not I will take one of the bike now.
Looks like the frame was blasted and then welded prior to coating.

I'm with Bryan on this one, if it can be made safe it will be great but having worked on Refinery units that made hydrogen in bulk or used it there are serious challenges to be overcome before it can be safe.

Got Hagons on my 750F1 and are a vast improvement on the standard ones, for the F2 I looked for TEC ones but could not find them any more so bought some YSS ones from eBay, don't know how good they are yet as the F2 is a long term rebuild.
