Yes Ted.

Error 404 is what you get when the browser can’t reach the destination page. Usually because it is an old page and no longer exists.

I’d be interested to see how Mike gets on with the (pseudo) 270° engine.

After 7 “traditional” Triumph triples (4x Sprint 955, Tiger 1050, 2x Tiger 800) I thought I’d try the cross plane 900.

Bulldog sold it to a guy who got washed away trying to cross a deep ford. The bike was written off.

I had a GT Pro when they first came out. I picked it up from Bulldog Triumph the day before the first lockdown

It had 1.6 miles on the clock after three months.

Traded it for a smaller 660 last year as I wanted back to the 120° engine.

Not if you have the requisite Bluetooth fittings in your helmet Steve.

Personally I don’t as I prefer to ride the bike and not make phone calls, but a lot of my mates do.

Also, for six months in 2005 I commuted from Wokingham to St Albans every day on my Triumph Sprint 955.

It was 50 miles door-to-door and a tank of fuel lasted exactly two days.

No way would I have ever tried it in a car.

Bike died at 48k miles when it spat the middle plug out on the Blackwater bypass.

I was a (sort of) dispatch rider too.

In the summer hols (from Uni) in 1977 I worked for a printer in Bedford.

Every day I had to ride to Fleet St to the offices of the editors of various weekly papers (I remember one of them was Angling Times) and collect the proofs and deliver them to the printer in Bedford.

It paid pretty well but the pickup had to be after 4:30pm so no chance of an easy ride up through Swiss Cottage and onto the M1.

I have a copy but is hidden in the loft under two weddings worth of stuff.

Happy to dig it out and copy a few pages. Unless anyone else on here has easier-to-access copy?

Mark has these books published in (very) small batches. Hence the price.
Have you asked him?

Steve
