Hi
Going through things after a full rebuild and I've got a front indicator problem. The indicators come on with the ignition and stay on which is correct but do not flash, they have the same bulb fitted as the rear indicators which are single filament, am I correct in thinking that the front bulbs should be double filament.

Yes, correct. Front have double filament, see pic, left is front, right rear.
Pics from diagram shows wiring. You must have 2 wires in front and 1 rear (plus ground of course) (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200617/dc9d75749cee6c880b68a39e83e1a805.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200617/8f75011a51ce2451d401c11acb1dc25d.jpg)(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200617/a178d5ecc0b3b26e9c72f5ac494f74bc.jpg)

Thanks for the reply I took the bike on as a half finished project the frame and electrics all done I've rebuilt engine , gearbox etc.
I think the indicators have been replaced with pattern parts and the same fittings have been put on the front of the bike as at the rear and they won't take the double filament bulbs.
I will have to source the correct fittings or disconnect the permanent live feed and have them operating as the UK spec bikes do

You have to disconnect the "running lights" anyway to comply with UK rules. The front should connect to the solid blue and solid orange wires not the ones with white stripes

As a bonus you will have 16 Watts saved!

42 actually

Running lights are now allowed in the indicators as long as they don't interfere with the function of the indicator. Which they don't as when you indicate that side running light element goes off.

Exactly, new bikes (Honda Africa Twin, new retro CB650R/1000R) have them as standard...)
