Title: Brush on engine paints
Post by: andy120t on September 09, 2009, 10:36:35 AM
I'm trying to track down a silver brush-on engine paint for my barrels & engine casings.

Anyone have any recommendations for a good one - and know where it is stocked?

Halfords do lots of spray-on ones, and their big stores offer black or red in a brush on version - they don't appear to have silver anywhere near me.

All my local car suppliers tend to offer sprays only. Is brush on a dying art?!

Cheers

All seem to be aerosol. How much you painting and how big a brush you using? Could you just spray some into a bowl and then brush it on?

Brush painting does indeed seem to be a dying art, these are the guys I used and I was surprised to find that they did not have any straight brushable paint.
