Last thing I'd like to know how they sound compare to OEM originals?
Erny, I bet the sound can be heard in this vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tf_oID9dp3E

You wouldn't happen to know the diameter of tube to order?
3,5mm.

So,are the screwdriver bits in the oem toolkit JIS form?
Yes
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the smaller crosshead one ordinary and the big one JIS?
Anyone?

Not original however is the dynamo cover, the horn and it lacks the rubber mudguard (80121-323-630) under the rear fender that is typical for the -ED and -G models.

Nice and original CB500K2-ED in Excel Black. This is what mine looked like when bought in 1980.

As you are in Holland wouldnt CMSNL be easier as its probably same supplier(DS and CMS have been hand in hand on a lot of repro stuff!) especially after #@%$
Usually I understand what is ment by #@%$, Bryan. Ah... not this time, could it be that it begins with a 'B' and ends with a 't'? ;) Anyway, I've noticed that sometimes - not always - DS is cheaper. CMSNL's site is brilliant though.

Some years back I re-trimmed a 550 K1 seat with a repro cover. I carefully cut the chrome trim moulding from the original seat cover, and glued into place over the new cover once fitted to the old base.
Thanks James, that's another possibility I consider.

Thanks Oddjob. Although I myself wasn't fooled, that original box is misleading. I guess when ordered it will arrive WITHOUT the Honda logo, no matter what it says in that ad. If I order one, it will probably be from DS. For the moment, I'm still in the process of gathering experiences here in Holland.

Are you sure it's glue? I always thought it was either vaseline or some sort of silicone paste. I see no harm NOT to glue them.
