Bad decision IMO, how many of those people who don't ride their bikes if it even looks like rain will attend in October when it's almost certain they'll be rain around somewhere. Most of the regular showers won't even bother attending IMO.
A risky time of year.

Ok for 4 wheels.

But could be wet and miserable on 2.

Think of all the cleaning afterwards

Don't think any of mine will be going out unless the forecast is 20 deg all weekend  ;)

That was my first thought;  it's not going to be a very pleasant ride in October .

Wow! Very negative response. You know it's just as likely to rain in June, don't you? This is soggy UK. 🌈🌦🌩😎

I think I will book us in when the bookings open and then judge the weather nearer the time. Like any day of the year in the UK, the weather can be beautiful, shite, or somewhere in between 😁😁😁

You can always go on your 'utility bikes' if the weather is bad Julie!

The last time I rode a really long way was to the David Silver weekend in September 2019.

And it chucked it down both going and returning.

I don't think it's clean yet!

Like alot of venues, Crich Tramway are really struggling from lost income. Maybe that is a factor in trying to still squeeze the event in. Might get out of bed and bimble down if it's sunny 😎
