New Member Introductions / New to the forum
« Last post by Harriec on Today at 02:08:35 PM »
Hi Guys,

Just thought I would introduce myself. I bought a CB70 F2 supersport a few years ago...I have now joined the forum as its letting me down and I can't get my head around the carbs so I thought I would tap into the wealth of knowledge that will be on here! I am based in Sussex so if anyone knows someone that likes to tinker with F2 carbs this way then please raise your hand! I was loving the bike until the end of last summer when it started to run like a bag of nails...now I can't even get it started! Two trips to two different garages (and about £600 later) and its still not running! Anyway...rain has stopped play today as I work outside...so im off to tinker with it and probably get more frustrated! :-\

My friend Graham Curtis rebuilds Honda pressed together cranks  inc. CB250/350K. He rebuilt my CB450K0, CB72 & S90 crankshafts.

That is very good to know Ash.  I had always been advised by my engineer that it was not possible.  Thanks very much.

Fitted mine and they sound excellent. I used fitting method on this site for fitting stock exhaust.
I am very pleased with them. Had a quick run on bike and all seems good performance wise.

Whose set of instructions did you follow?
It would be good to have a step by step guide as has been suggested.

Busso seem to have reacted to the new reality.  £786 + unfortunate UK import at present if you can get them.

The before & after photos of the electrics behind the side panel look inpressive - all those now homeless Arachnids good work!

Excellent progress there. The polishing mops are a brilliant piece of kit.
Trigger probably bored your barrel and mine at the same time!

There is a cb350  near Hitchin on F-book Marketplace. Is that a similar thing? Looks quite nice to me.

The caliper does not originaly have a crush washer as the original metal pipe seals on conical surfaces, but you have different fittingd and may need the washer
