If done early enough pins springs and rollers should cure it BUT i have seen the clutch assembly come loose on the rotor and/or break the screws, somewhere i have a NOS clutch outer. I have seen the big gear centre polished surface wear but not often

Cranks rarely go so a used one should be OK but get one with rods as if its knocking the rod concerned will be toast guaranteed

There needs to be a soft alloy sealing washer between the steel bracket that the end cap screws onto and the top cover as the oil can come out of the bolt hole
