After an NEW original Cb500 K1 72 clutch cable 22870-323-620 superceeded by 22870-323-621
Anyone know of one for sale ?

When I looked it said discontinued - or so I thought and Silvers wasn't a genuine offering

Can be ordered is same as Dave Silver says, normaly means can be got from Honda BUT sometimes there is a crossover to discontinued, has your local deal said its discontinued, i frequently go to local dealer and pay same price as Silvers but no postage

I used the online Honda parts service .... never thought to walk in to a dealer - so will try that

DS is selling OEM cables, not original. He does order the genuine ones but they are over £30 to buy.
Andy Cepok has them but he won't post to the UK anymore. Maybe Alex could buy a few and send them over :) :)

The replica ones that Sliver sells are, HJ-Lex ( TSK ) and TSK supply cables to Honda ;)

Does that make them as good as original though Graham?
The same manufacturer who produced exhaust hangers for the 500-4 also did the repro ones that DS sells and they got them wrong, not only is the metal thinner but they bent them at the wrong angles. The upper ones are fine, the lower ones are well out. Unless they are using the same machinery as they did in the 70s, with the same materials as then I think the reproduction will never be as good as the original.

Good to know .... I've one coming from CMSNL at great cost - so will see if it is original - if not I'll have to plump for David Silver's offering
