A friend of mine has just brought a project bike (CB400 four) which is missing the oil pressure light.
Inst panel is complete with no extra holes but where top oil light should be is the Honda wings logo? Have told him to check if the oil pressure switch is fitted.
Have any members seen this before?

Nope, I've never seen one of those before. I hope the oil pressure switch is fitted, if not there will be a big hole in the top crank case 😁😁😁😁

Definitely no oil pressure in that case

That'll be it then Mike, no switch, no pressure, no light needed 😁😁😁😁

Got to the bottom of missing lamp!

Got to the bottom of missing lamp!
So it was there all the time, just hiding 😁😁😁

That's a relief. I've been worrying about your engine. I can now get a decent night's sleep.

.... 5 lights to choose from.... 4 of which are ‘idiot’ lights. And yet the previous owner dude goes on to delete the Oil Pressure.
Doh!
😂😂😂😂😂

I did think it a bit strange? Thought maybe there might be an issue but oil light goes out even under cranking and stays out until engine stops.
Now he knows engine's a runner I believe its full strip and refurb next..
