I had an CB1100RB Alan - first half faired version - thats got RC bodywork (only 81 RB's brought in to UK to get round streetbike homologation rules, mine was an import I had in early 90's) - super quick and handled well. Same old story - 'Wish I'd kept it'. Hindsight aye!

Remember Mr H On one of those and the earlier part faired version, wiping the floor with all comers . Was is MCN Streetbike Street Bike series? Then the mind drifts to him on first gear drive cam VFR750 as a stocker in the wet in at the Transatlantic series. What a performance against full on Superbikes of the time.

Joey Dunlop raced one as well I think - got a picture somewhere of Haslam & Dunlop posing next to a RB

...that's a good price for a decent CB900, and looks good with all the replica bodywork and work that has been done too. If I had space I would be happy to have it.

There is also a real one for sale on that site.... price is a little higher though at £15k.

...and a Minichamps toy one  for £184!   Didn't Tamiya make one in the 80's? - I'm sure there is one in my old catalogue..
