CB500/550 / 500/4 cylinder head gasket« on: March 22, 2011, 04:36:35 PM »
Hi.My cylinder head gasket is weeping oil. I read somewhere that they all do this and even after fitting a new one it can start weeping again after a short time. is this true? If I do replace the gasket can I remove the head with the engine in the frame? The Hayes manual says engine has to come out and a US shop manual I have says head can be taken off with engine in frame!!! Any info would be welcome. Cheers Phil.

CB500/550 / tacho renovation« on: April 29, 2009, 06:22:53 PM »
Hi
I'm looking for someone reliable in the UK to repair/renovate my tacho. Just replaced the cable with a new inner & outer but the pointer still becomes erratic/inaccurate above approx 5000 rpm. Has anyone used somebody they could recommend or any other suggestions. Cheers Phil.
