It was all Automatic apart from the swingarm Sean.

Sean, look at the angle of the left rear strut, this is what happens when you mix early with later model parts.
Can you imagine IF you could get a shock to fit, the problems it would have going up and down.

I can only guess Sean as I never measured it but I'm guessing the gearbox sprocket is about 5/8th of an inch further out on the shaft.
On all the later models, everything is cranked out on the near side.
I'll see if I can find a picture of the problems I had when I tried to fit a K swingarm into an Auto frame.

I thought it might be but wasn't 100% sure, it is the same as all the early Ks.
It's just the late Ks, F2 and Autos that have it longer on the drive chain side.

Sean, can you check the lengths of the top mounting stubs on the frame of the F1 please (if you have the time) ?

You shouldn't have a problem mating the K4 motor with the F1 chassis but measure the top stubs on the frame where the shock fits to be sure. If the near side one is longer than the off side one you will run in to problems.
I've checked the measurements of all the frames except the F1 and all the 750 motors will fit in any frame as will any swingarm, it's when you come to fit the shocks and drive chain that the problems start.

Laverda120, I'm not sure what the oil filter is but it's connected to an adaptor that allows me to run the oil cooler off it.
I think the adaptor came from Terry in Australia who is on the sohc4.net forum.
I used the bike for Drag Racing in the Southern States and it needed the cooler on account of the heat over there.
The bike is the American Automatic version and keeping the oil at a stable temperature is critical as I ran in the ET classes where consistency is the name of the game. Get the oil to hot and you're on your way home and it's a long way to England. hahaha

Wow guys, I'm the other way round, I have a TV (for what it's worth) but Smart phones, they're just to smart for me. hahaha.
I was going to say, if you had a computer, I could have talked you through it, but on a phone, I've no idea what you are seeing.
I've had the same problems with friends because they don't see what I see.

When you make a post to the forum, do you not see Attachments and other options ?

Sam. ;)

Sean, here's a pic of my early K RC box section arm fitted to an Automatic frame.
I'm only posting it to check out how easy it is and then maybe I can talk you through it.
