Yes nice looking "real" bike. Makes you feel old realising they are 25 years old and launched at the time to bring back the "Z" styling which itself was old then! If you know what I mean

Other Bikes / Re: Black bomber, interesting read.« on: June 19, 2017, 02:46:10 PM »Had a 400 superdream taken out to 436, Moriwaki cam etc. That ran ok..... Actually raced it at Darley Moor in the open class up to 1300cc? Got 2 thirds too. Besides lack of fear on my part at that age, it was comparable to a prody tuned 350YPVS in a straight line - so not slow. Often wondered if you can still get the Moriwaki bits but even on the internet I can see no reference. For some reason, I remember I dealt with a place in Hazelmere, which surprises me as I seem to struggle to recall my last sentence sometimes!! 787

Rebuilt my 400 brake earlier in the year using silicone fluid with no problems evident. Flushed through with meths and airline before any silicone based product introduced.

Bike looks at home there, you must have been proud.
Dont know if im just getting to be an old duffer but prefer classic having been to both. A bit more accessible and can relate to the bikes more. Not so much happening other than bikes at classic however, which is where the main event does score. 791

Hi,
Julie has kindly done some model history summaries for those of you showing a bike. Think it would be great to add to this any story (especially photos) of resto work your bike has had. I am bringing my barn find 400 along to show what can be done from a rough starting point! Always knew if i held resto off long enoigh it would be useful!!! Tim 793

I will wait a few days for any more and then send out some form of email to you confirming things for use to collect tickets on gate. Anyone hoping to come that hasn't confirmed as yet, can I give you a nudge..... Thanks Tim 795
