Title: Ludicracy of Honda Parts pricing
Post by: AshimotoK0 on June 27, 2015, 10:09:34 AM
Going through my new parts I bought about 6 years ago for my 750 and 250 and breathing a sigh of relief that I bought them then and not now (like HM 300's for £500, front mudguard for £75, 750K1 seat £140, etc from DSS). However some parts are cheap still in comparison e.g. Wonder if they have just escaped the net.

https://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/parts/by-part-number/hpart_9501451100/ Throttle grip 83 pence + VAT

https://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/parts/by-part-number/partnumber_17620402010/   Chromed fuel cap inc. seal for CB250 £8.50 +VAT

These are new part prices not NOS.

although to be fair, there are probably a lot more restored hondas back on the road because of him. but i must admit the parts can be a tad pricey.

Try buying them from any other Honda dealer, if you can get one that still has the microfiche files and viewer
