Front disc and pads recently replaced, I get a lot of squealing when wheeling my bike in and out the garage. No noticeable squealing when actually riding it at any speed. Probably done about 250 miles since the change.
Any suggestions on what I can look at to reduce this at all?

You will have to learn to live with it. My front brake and all its components are set up absolutely perfectly but, she will be a non squeaker for a few day and then it starts again. Its like yours, when either pushing the bike or stopping from very low speed, on normal riding / braking, she's as quiet as a mouse.

They all do that, Sir! :(

Frightens the heck out of my mate when he is in front of me when we come to a stop as any minute he expects a CB750 to hit him from behind.

Now you may not believe this one but back in the 70's when working at a Honda, Fiat, Citroen dealer Citroen put out a bulletin to stop the front discs squealing on the big CX which read.
Stick finger into coppaslip grease and wipe on disc in three places each side of DISC.
They did have high pressure brake, steering, suspension systems

Grease the pads and any disc squealing will be drowned out by your own as you hurtle into the shrubbery! :o

I don't remember my 750f1 squealing at all.
It had twin discs. The brakes did make a clanging noise occasionally, due to me removing the adjuster screws & springs.
However. The brake squeal on my K1 is really infuriating.
Weird thing is. My K1 is wearing the very same front end that was in my F1. I am now considering fitting EBC pro-lite discs.
In an attempt to stop the noise. Does anyone know if this will work?

Arch,
I fitted an EBC MD1062LS front brake disc to my F1, cures the squeaking and improves the braking.
Good luck

Hello Skoti.
Thank you for your response. And the info.
That will be very handy.
Regards.
