Welcome Hondaking. If you use or have an iphone or android phone it's well worth getting the Tapatalk app -  I use it almost exclusively now to read / post to this forum and it makes uploading pictures an absolute doddle. You can upload directly from your phone.

Looking forward to seeing your pics...

James

I'm pretty sure you can get away with MPH sticker overlays for the purpose of an MOT. Was common practice when the Eu grey imports were flooding in back in the late 90's.

Stuart, I'd be 2nd in line behind Bitsa on the stock hm341 pipes, but again depends on price. James

Here you go Busa. I really want to avoid painting the tank as its original paint and almost perfect (apart from the bloody big dent ha ha...). :-)

Thanks Busa. Yeah have tried a few but no-one seems to want to touch motorcycle tanks. May have to post the tank off to a specialist firm up north who specialise in motorcycle pdr...

Guess you could file down the lever where it contacts the master cylinder - so you have more initial movement in the lever before it starts to depress the master cylinder plunger. You would need to add additional material to the return stop side (or you could drill / tap and insert a set screw / lock nut to the same effect). You'd also need to ensure theres enough meat between where you remove material and the lever pivot pin hole. Just a thought.

Blimey what's that rear wheel / swing arm combo on the 550? Looks like a cbr600? Planning the same for the front end?
