Officially K4 never came to UK only US but looks nice, remember to ride it very regularly or those carbs will drive you nuts

Something wrong with the crankshaft details as there should be 5 letters and 4 numbers (or maybe other way round)

Unless they are badly scored you can reuse them saving a lot of time, money and searching as a lot of the shells are not available now

From memory the ends go through holes in the pins to stop them sliding out, small "R" clips should do the same job, thats what a lot of cars use

I think metzeller do a rib type that will fit the 400 but may be too wide for the 72, but it was about £90 plus drat and carriage trade price! 3.25x18

Yup, if some one in the past has not been carefull when fitting the valve cover you can crack the guide below the seal

Thats why the only ones i considder are those that come with thicker liners, more expensive to fit because of the cost to bore the block and maybe cases but safer

If memory serves you have to have some sort of chainguard to pass test
