Title: Insurance
Post by: Dazza215 on May 05, 2017, 09:55:37 AM
Hi All,
I now have 3 bikes in the garage, all at various stages of restoration, two UK registered and one imported.
I was wondering about insurance.
Can I insure all of the bikes as "off the road" or do I need to insure them as potentially road going vehicles?

Also Which is the best insurance company to use for this sort of thing?
You guys are the font of all knowledge so thought I would ask you first before spending a day ringing around all the different companies and giving my details to all and sundry.
Thanks in advance.

I use Footman James, I couldn't get a quote from most insurers as their database didn't go back as far as 1971. At best they were quoting for a much later model of 750 Honda.

I've switched from Footman James to Peter James - both excellent and cheaper if you're a paid-up VJMC member...
