Gearing is always a thought and I can understand why you would look at that, for me 1st is always a little tall on pull away but then I think the gearing at classic!!! bike speeds I do is perfect  :D

Morning All,
Have a new yuasa battery, full up and charged, question is bike is kept on optimate all the time not being used and is all green light good, if I take the bike out for a short run then olug it back in it takes hours to go back to green and fully charged, I've not had this slow process back to charged ever on a bike so is the battery no good? have I a loose connection anywhere?
anybody have any views on this please?
Regards to all

Hi All, bike is new to me, I know all bikes vary in starting techniques etc, but from cold anybody go the best method, ie no choke, or half/full choke, leave throttle or open a touch, my bike seems to have a mind of its own although just rebuilt and I know things will settle, being used to classic two strokes for years this is a new way of starting things! hopefully someone can recommend the best option to use all the time that has more experience than me on starting up what I have decided to call "Turbine"  bike when hot is instant start no problem, thanks for any advice chaps or ladies  ;D

CB750 / 750 K4 tank strip
« on: May 24, 2018, 10:40:02 AM »
Hi All, have just bought the above, the tan is nos and has been painted by dreamachine, thats all good, but the metail strip on the bottom is on the tank but does not bend round to fit properly at the seat end, I'm not sure how to tackle getting a bend in it or buying another strip pre bent? and if so anyone know where I could get one? also should the strip only be held on by the tabs or glue as well, any answers greatly appreciated
